on-site research on geographies and living ecosystem of cork trees, and their ability to re-grow after yearly forest fires.
1cm layer of ash that involves burnt cork from these ‘fire proof’ trees is distributed on the roof of the empty gas station
as a performative act,
as a temporary ritual.
